Christmas Tree Hunting

So I know this post is way late, but oh well. Every year we like to go and find our own Christmas tree and cut it down. Problem is, is that eventhough we have done this for the past 4 years we still forget that THE TREE ALWAYS LOOKS SMALLER IN THE FOREST! This year our tree was massive. Oh well, it makes for a great story. It kept falling over because it is so big so Nolan had to screw it into the wall. We had a fun day getting the tree. We went down to Dutch John area to get our permit because the place here was closed. The first picture is of the Flaming Gorge Dam that is near Dutch John. Then we found our tree, cut it down, and went out to eat. It was a great family day. I love the picture of my two kids hugging, although I would have to say it looks a bit like an engagement picture. At least sometimes they like eachother.

is that Nolan in the background of the engagement photo cutting the tree down? that seems like alot of fun...we take the easy way out and find the fake tree in storage...that's an adventure sometimes... your kids are definitely cute...
