Nastiness!

The other day I went downstairs to use the computer and I saw a spider on the ground. I thought it was dead and so I got close to it. I nudged it with a piece of paper just to be sure and it moved. It

was probably the size of a quarter. I had to keep it to show Nolan because I knew he wouldn't believe it if I just told him, plus I wanted to know what type of spider it was. I put it in a ziploc bag and then started searching the internet, and I found it. It was a female hobo spider and it was in the same category and the brown recluse and black widow. Yikes! Needless to say we need an exterminator. Nolan, of course, was extremely grossed out when he came home. In our house I am the one who deals with the spider disposal.

Hobo spiders and Wolf spiders look a lot a like. The biggest difference is that Hobo spiders are aggressive and they will attack. My parents had an infestation and cought one and put a glass cup over it and it kept attacking the sides of the cup. They will also charge you. Gross my mom and sister have both been bitten by a hobo.
